Yesterday, the first Nangang Craftsmen Award Ceremony, themed "New Era, New Journey, Jointly Building the Chinese Dream," was held at the Harbin Children's Palace Theater. The ceremony, hosted by Nangang District, honored more than 10 Nangang elites who have made outstanding contributions in areas such as inheriting traditional crafts, technical expertise, research and development, and technological invention.
Yesterday, Nangang District held its first "Nangang Craftsmen" selection and awards ceremony, themed "New Era, New Journey, Jointly Building the Chinese Dream," at the Harbin Children's Palace Theater. More than 10 Nangang industry elites who have made outstanding contributions in areas such as inheriting craftsmanship, technical expertise, research and development, and technological invention were commended.
To build a workforce of knowledgeable, skilled, and innovative laborers, promote the spirit of model workers and craftsmen, and foster a social atmosphere that values labor and a dedication to excellence, the Nangang District Committee and the Nangang District Federation of Trade Unions launched the first "Nangang Craftsmen" selection activity throughout the district. This selection process involved grassroots recommendations, expert reviews, online voting, unit announcements, media announcements, and a comprehensive assessment by the "Nangang Craftsmen" selection working group. Ultimately, 10 "Nangang Craftsmen" were selected from over 80 candidates, including Zhu Jingchen, chief engineer of Harbin Tool Factory. The Qiulin Bread inheritor received the only "Nangang Craftsmen" group award, and 9 others, including the 19th National Congress representative Zhao Jing, received the "Nangang Craftsmen Nomination Award."
